Thursday Shout Out: Warm Me Up!

We don’t know about you, but we’ve been slammed yet again by copious amounts of snow, making us think that hibernation is probably the best means of survival…but short of that, we want to be nice and cozy and as warm as possible when we are forced to venture out into the great white wide open, and these Etsy sellers will help us on our way.

Lined Gray Cowl Fleece Jacket by kayemkay. $110. Hey, if you’re going to be forced to bundle up, what better way to do that than with this totally rockin’ jacket? Fleece is soft and warm, which we like. This jacket is amazingly styled, not too bulky, and super sweet, which we love. Take that, Old Man Winter!

Women’s Long Wool Horseshoe Cable Knit Mittens in Stone by FairMaidenDesign. $60. These ain’t your kids’ mittens, people. Never mind the gorgeous design, amazing craftsmanship, and beautiful color…all that put together with the super long sleeves to keep your wrists and arms toasty to boot? FairMaidenDesign obviously heard our wishes for warm winter mittens and made them come true.

Winter Cap by missPriscillaPomeroy. $35. We’re not ashamed to admit this hat makes us (kind of) wish that winter was all year round. Forget wearing it out, we’ll wear it in- in the house, in bed, and possibly even in the shower, because it looks that luscious. To top that off, missPriscillaPomeroy is also willing to customize it in any of 25 different colors. Can you beat it? No, you can’t.

Organic Merino Washed Wool Knit Hoodie with Handcrafted Wood Button by sandmaiden. $160. Tired of all the boring, generic sweaters that you’ve been stuck wearing since November? Yup, we know the feeling. But the good news is that there is absolutely nothing boring OR generic about this breathtaking hoodie by sandmaiden. Part of the attraction to this is the warm feeling we know we’d get when wearing this-not just because of the organic merino wool, but from the satisfaction of knowing just how awesome we look.

Winter Blue Button Up Cowl with Handmade Buttons by gypseatree. $35. The combination of the chunky knit and the lace-like design on the handmade buttons spells perfection…toasty, stylish perfection. What else is there to say? We want one. Or two. And we’re pretty sure now you do as well. And you know what? We’ve still got a few months of winter left, so we say go for it-and if anybody asks, go ahead and tell them we said it was okay.

  4. Oh, cool finds. Or should I say “warm finds”~

I’m not a hat person, so I vote for the last one. Good luck with the snow. We have very cold temps here. Spring is coming, I tell myself everyday……
