The Art of Worn Down Possibility

Hey, we can’t lie: we like new things. New things have their place, after all. New underwear? Definitely to be preferred over second hand. That being said, we also have an affinity for stuff that may have been to hell and back but still has plenty of life left in it.

After all, we’ve made our business out of finding the old, cast off, but still totally cool bags of various militaries all over the world. We appreciate their worn spots, handwritten names on the flaps, faded canvas, and worn in leather. We love that they’re not brand new.

And the same can be said for our newly discovered photography spots behind the workshop. Rough around the edges, more than a little beaten up, and no, certainly not what anyone would call shiny and new, that is exactly what makes them awesome.

No, relics like these wouldn’t complement everyone’s work, but it sure work for us. The wood is worn but still has amazing splashes of color. The paint is chipped and the metal is rusted, but darn it if you can’t still imagine kids cruising down the back roads having the time of their lives in these big, gas guzzling beasts.

So, yeah. We’re not in the business of selling perfection. And while some people might look at these cars and falling down sheds and see scrap metal and firewood (and the occasional tetanus shot), we’re pretty happy seeing what we see: possibility.
