This Old Awesome: Episode In Which the Meatbagz Broads Recieve a Sign

We.

Are.

Moved.

In.

The last work desk has been delivered and assembled,

the snap press has been installed,

and necessary provisions have been acquired.

Yesterday was our first official workday in the completed space, and as we happily printed away in preparation for The Strolling of the Heifers (less than two weeks away!) we high fived repeatedly and exalted in the efficiency the new workshop has afforded us. Plenty of desk space…finally! Room to print and to heat set…at the same time! Never mind that our entire inventory is all in one place and we can even print labels with our brand spankin’ new printer and check the shop with our super cool new toy, the Samsung Galaxy Tablet.

And, happily, the universe saw fit to show us that we are on the right track when, just as we were about to pack up for the day, we suddenly realized we’d sold a bunch of bags within about twenty minutes…

because our vintage bear bag had been featured in Etsy Finds.

Not a giant sign, no, but more than enough for us. Moving into this space has been a lot of work, a lot of heavy lifting, and, for us, a fair amount of expense, all of which can be draining and occasionally scary. We never doubted our choices to take things to the next level, but darn it-we can’t deny the awesomeness of finding reassurance that sometimes stepping blindly forward will bring you to right where you belong.
