When it comes to deciding whether a design is right for a bag, a bag is right for the shop, or just needing to take a step back from the routine and little issues that come along with said routine, we Meatbagz broads have come up with a very scientific, time tested remedy:
We step outside of the box…
and into the car.
Meet Emy, Mackenzie’s pretty much busted but all the more loved for it convertible. And yes, we named her. If you haven’t noticed yet, we have penchant for naming things.
When we need to step outside our boxes…our homes, our work spaces, our present frame of mind…we head for Emy. We escape down the open road, yelling ideas back and forth over loud tunes and the rush of the wind, our cowboy hats firmly in place.
We’ve come to realize the true importance of getting ourselves out of our boxes: instead of walking into the same environment with the same problems (and, usually, the same unsatisfactory answers), we give ourselves a break. We change the scenery (often at an alarmingly fast rate), and, with it, we change our mindsets. We change our approach to questions, we change our answers, and usually we find solutions that work.
And what happens when the weather is too cold or too rainy to step outside of the box with the top down?
Well, that’s easy: we bundle ourselves in as many layers as possible, and, if necessary, we put the top up. But that’s pretty drastic.
So, next time you feel like you’re stuck in your box, may we suggest stepping out of it…and crank the tunes while you’re at it.
